In many Students’ Unions, student media is a very significant part of student culture. At The Students’ Union at UWE though, it lacks this relevance because Student Media operates as separate societies and are thus supported at this level.
The responsibilities fall under the VP Socs and Comms, however this time has to be divided between Student Media and 96 other societies.
A dedicated Officer is therefore needed to full support Student Media.
