*For the 2021/22 academic year, special circumstances will be applied to those with one years' representation but would have represented for a second year.
For the first time, we are introducing a new Award category called the ‘Sports Club Equality Award’. With such a diverse University community with students from across the world, The Students’ Union is committed to creating an inclusive environment through its contribution to the Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity agenda. This award recognises a Sports Club that has demonstrated a passion for equality through their activities and engagement with the student community. This Sports Club will have championed EDI and have proven examples for creating inclusive events or activities that includes the wider student body especially groups that may not typically engage.
